ASPECT - CLEAR
Description:
A 55-200mm telephoto lens shot taken from inside PU Tower ( aera where the tower operator would have been stationed. Looking at westbound signal displaying the Aspect Steady Green over Steady Red, Name Clear, Indication proceed not exceeding Normal Speed, NORAC Rule 281 (NORAC+ Northeast Advisdoty rules Operating Committee) The yellow blur is a Christmas light on of many strung in PU Tower. This signal is for NS train K 76 general manifest, originates in Allentown, PA to Croxton, NJ. It is heading westbound as was supposed to pass by earlier, and had engine trouble of some sort.

TOYX 1927 with PU for PU Tower

A nie shsot of TOYX 1927 with the letters PU for PU Tower and Toys for Tots banner also seen on this car. Railfans getting a shot of this car. This car is new to RRPA noted in the previous photo of TOYX 1927. History of TOYX 1927 Model 50ft Boxcar 5,347 cubic feet, Built November 1977 Builder FMC Corporation Portland, OR. Past RR Owners; Meridian & Bigbee, Marquette Rail, Laurinburg & Southern, Columbus & Greenville, Alabama & Gulf Coast, Current Owner TOYX Kenvil, NJ This car was acquired by Marquetette Rail in Novemebr 2007, and became their MQT 1042. It went to the Laurinburg & Southern in April 2017 as LRS 7933 and was again transferred to the Columbus & Greenville in June of 2023 as their CAGY 7933. Control fo this car was eventually acquired by the Alabama & Gulf Coast RWY, a subsidiary of the Genesee & Wyoming. AGR donated this car to TOYX in October 2025. NS moved this car from Alabama to NJ .It is stored in NJ, and used to collect Toys for Tots seasonal collections. Source; https://www.toyx.org 1927
